KCOI has 17 Inpatient beds, along with 8 state-of-the-art operating rooms. KCOI is conveniently located near I-435 & State Line Road in Leawood, KS.</p><p>We’re seeking a full-time Environmental Services Technician for our Inpatient Unit. Healthcare experience is a plus, but willing to train a motivated individual with an eye for detail and a commitment to service excellence. Teamwork, effective communication skills, and great attendance are essential. The position is fulltime, 40 hours per week. Weekend availability is a must, and days off will vary. Rotating holidays. Schedule is 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour. Paid time off begins accruing immediately with hours worked. Pay is bi-weekly.</p><p><strong>Job Function:</strong></p><p>Environmental Services Technicians perform daily cleaning of the nursing unit and 17 private patient rooms, including discharged room cleaning. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, an associate degree in related field with ten years plant operations management experience, and healthcare safety.<br/><br/><strong> Licensure/Certifications:</strong> Current drivers license, Class "A Operating Engineers license preferred.<br/><strong> Experience:</strong> A minimum of ten years (10) experience in plant operations and construction required. <strong> Experience in healthcare, safety and security required</strong>.
