4-6 years of experience as a Building Engineer, Facilities Engineer, or HVAC Technician Strong hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for travel between sites) Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Experience using CMMS systems Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, rooftops, and in confined spaces Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed, including occasional weekends Desired EPA Universal Certification HVAC trade school or technical certification Experience supporting commercial office, lab, or industrial facilities Familiarity with BAS/BMS systems (Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, etc.) Additional HVAC or energy management certifications. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, VAVs, AHUs, exhaust systems, chillers, boilers, and split systems • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues • Monitor building systems to ensure efficiency, safety, and occupant comfort • Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely manner • Perform general facilities maintenance (lighting, doors, ceilings, minor carpentry and plumbing) • Maintain accurate records in the CMMS, including work orders and preventive maintenance logs • Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors • Support inspections, audits, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements • Travel to other company sites as needed to provide facilities and HVAC support • Participate in an on-call rotation as required.
