Staff Scheduling & Coverage Responsibilities: Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including. Align staffing with resident care needs, ensuring proper coverage during peak care times.

<p>We are seeking a dependable and compassionate <strong>Weekend Supervisor</strong> to support our assisted<br/>living memory care community. <strong>This position is responsible for supervising staff and</strong><br/><strong>operations on weekends</strong> and will be<strong> responsible for shift coverage to ensure safe and</strong><br/><strong>consistent resident care.</strong><strong>The Weekend Supervisor will cover open shifts as needed</strong>, ensuring<br/>proper staffing levels are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership<br/>skills, flexibility, and a passion for working with seniors especially those with memory care<br/>needs.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p> Conduct routine resident checks (at least hourly or as directed by Management)<br/> Ensure residents' daily needs and activities are met<br/> Promote effective communication between staff, residents, and families.<br/> Help resolve concerns and foster a positive, home-like environment<br/> Provide leadership and oversight to weekend staff, ensuring policies and procedures<br/>are followed<br/> Promote a positive image of the community to residents, families, and the public<br/> Give tours when management or administration is unavailable and collect accurate<br/>information for follow-up<br/> Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and relay accurate messages promptly</p><p>Staff Scheduling & Coverage Responsibilities:<br/> Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including<br/>weekends and high-need times<br/> Cover open shifts as needed to maintain safe staffing levels and continuity of care<br/> Manage call-offs by quickly identifying and securing replacement staff<br/> Align staffing with resident care needs, ensuring proper coverage during peak care times<br/>(e.g., mornings, medication passes)</p><p> Serve as a communication hub between staff and management regarding schedules,<br/>updates, and shift assignments<br/> Ensure compliance with staffing regulations, including maintaining appropriate staff-<br/>to-resident ratios and accurate records<br/> Monitor and manage overtime and labor costs while maintaining quality care standards</p><p><strong>Staff Supervision, Training & Development:</strong><br/> Assist in<strong> training and supervising Staff</strong>, ensuring staff are knowledgeable in their<br/>duties.<br/> Ensuring staffing complies with facility policies and state requirements</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong><br/> Weekend coverage required<br/><strong> Must be flexible with scheduling, as this position requires stepping in to work shifts when</strong><br/><strong>staff call in or coverage is needed</strong><br/><strong> Shift times will vary based on staffing needs and may include days, evenings, or</strong><br/><strong>overnight coverage and/or holidays.</strong><br/> Weekend shift differential pay offered.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br/> Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required<br/> ACMA (Advanced Certified Medical Assistant) certification preferred or required<br/> Experience working in assisted living and/or memory care environments<br/> Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's care practices<br/> Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills<br/> Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and manage multiple priorities<br/> Experience with scheduling software and healthcare staffing coordination preferred<br/><strong>Must be reachable and available at all times for on-call and emergency staffing needs</strong></p>
