Our client is looking to add a <strong><u>Controller</u></strong> to the team. The current Controller is retiring and this role will have two direct reports. Looking for someone personable, friendly, and that likes to take a collaborative approach to partnering with both finance and non-financial relationships.<br/><br/><strong>General Description:</strong><ul><li>Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.</li><li>Ensure that accounts payable arepaid in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.</li><li>Process payroll in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed.</li><li>Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis.</li><li>Maintain the chart of accounts.</li><li>Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.</li><li>Update and maintain Business Intelligence Reporting Tool.</li><li>Issue timely and complete financial statements.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.</li><li>Manage the Sales and Use Tax software and maintain the integration with the accounting records.</li><li>Work closely with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
