Areas of responsibility include Operating Rooms, Open Heart Operating Rooms, Radiology and Cardiac Catheterization Labs, Endoscopy, Emergency Room, Ambulatory Surgery Unit, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and patient bedside with anesthesia in intensive care and medical surgical units. Using Aseptic Technique prepares and sets up supplies for efficient clinical use and assists with insertion of invasive pressure monitors (i.e. arterial lines, central lines, Swan Ganz) by preparing sterile trays and equipment.
