Performs daily task of vital signs, blood sugar testing, Intakes & Outputs, EKG’s, and assisting consumers with activities of daily living (i.e. baths, positioning, feeding) under the direction of an licensed nurse. Responsibilities: CNA’s in the hospital setting perform daily tasks of obtaining vital signs, obtaining accuchecks, performing EKG’s as needed in addition to basic observation and monitoring of consumer(s) on assigned unit.
