Located in downtown Chicago (in the central Loop) the Chicago office has a team of attorneys and paralegals who defend and try personal injury lawsuits filed in the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. The paralegal position will be filled as either an Associate Paralegal, Paralegal or Sr Paralegal dependent on the successful candidate's experience level.</p><p style="text-align:left">This paralegal position supports the Personal Injury Litigation team with a focus on FELA and third-party lawsuits, working closely with in-house and outside counsel. The paralegal is responsible for a heavy litigation caseload and is responsible for the initial drafts of pleadings and discovery, identifying and gathering documents in response to discovery, preparing legal documents and correspondence, preparing and serving subpoenas, assisting in interviewing witnesses, summarizing records, maintaining electronic files and calendaring litigation deadlines, witness interviews and depositions among others.
