Job Title: Distribution Office AdministratorHours: Monday to Friday, Rotating Week 1: 08:00 till 16:00 / Week 2: 12:00 till 20:00Location: RochesterSalary: £13.89<h3>About the Role:</h3>We are looking for a confident and organized Administrator to join our busy kitchen distribution office. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication and multitasking skills. You'll play a key part in keeping our delivery operations running smoothly-supporting drivers, porters, and customers throughout the day.<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Driver Support & Debriefing:<ul><li>Welcome back drivers after their delivery runs and carry out debrief procedures</li><li>Record delivery outcomes, issues, and paperwork accurately</li></ul></li><li>Customer Service:<ul><li>Answer incoming customer calls and provide updates on delivery times</li><li>Resolve delivery queries or escalate issues where necessary</li></ul></li><li>Operations Coordination:<ul><li>Liaise with drivers and porters on the road to provide live updates or changes</li><li>Track vehicle locations and delivery progress using internal systems</li><li>Update internal systems with delivery statuses and notes</li></ul></li><li>General Admin Duties:<ul><li>Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and communication notes</li><li>Support the distribution team with day-to-day administrative tasks</li></ul></li></ul><h3>Key Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li><li>Confident using phones, email, and computer systems</li><li>Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure</li><li>Good attention to detail and record keeping</li><li>Previous experience in a logistics, transport, or fast-paced admin environment is a bonus</li></ul><h3>Benefits:</h3><ul><li>Consistent weekday hours - no weekends</li><li>Friendly and supportive team</li><li>On-the-job training provided</li><li>Opportunity to work in a growing business with a strong reputation in the industry</li></ul>The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
