Preferred: Dynamic approach to teaching media and film at the college level; Current field research, graduate coursework, and/or successful teaching experience in one or more of the following areas: Mass Communication, Film Studies, Media Theory, Film Production, and Screenwriting; Professional experience working in the film, television or digital media industries; Proficiency in educational and production technologies; Innovative use of technology in both online and in-person learning environments; Proven ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues; Demonstrated commitment to valuing and promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism. We are seeking instructors for inclusion in a pool who have the ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: Media: Introduction to Mass Communication, Media, Culture, and Identity, Film Appreciation, Early Film History, Modern Film History, Audio for Film Production, Multi-Camera Studio Production, Introduction and Intermediate Digital Filmmaking, and Introduction and Intermediate Screenwriting.
