Responsible for a variety of programs that serve children of ages 2-10 and their caregivers, the CFL division is responsible for the administration of summer programming, after-school events, multi-year science enrichment programs, large-scale on- and off-site family engagement opportunities, and the Museum's Learning Labs and other programmed areas when needed. The American Museum of Natural History is one of the world's preeminent scientific and cultural institutions, and has as its mission to discover, interpret, and disseminate information about human cultures, the natural world, and the universe through a wide-ranging program of scientific research, education, and exhibition.
