Examples of specialized experience includes providing customer service support for base access operations, issuing and verifying identification credentials, registering privately owned vehicles, conducting background checks, processing privately owned weapons documentation, maintaining security equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, securing and destroying expired credentials, maintaining signature verification files, and performing administrative duties such as answering inquiries, receiving visitors, managing suspense actions, distributing mail, and maintaining office files. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a clerk on a shift assigned to the Base Access Section and to process the various security related documentation including requests for issuance of Restricted Area Badges (RAB), Contractor badges, identification credentials, as well as other documents to include vehicle registrations and vehicles passes.
