EMERGENT SITUATIONS: Responds to all emergency calls for assistance to control: disorderly conduct or combative patients, potential and/or actual infant or child patient abductions, bomb threats or reports of suspicious packages, evacuation incidents, and/or chemical spills, for crowd control purposes. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: General knowledge of the usual duty requirements of a security officer with an emphasis on the physical and emotional maturity required for the high degree of judgment and diplomacy necessary to work efficiently in a healthcare environment.
