Job Description:
The Event Security role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests, staff, and players during events. In this role, Event Security team members are expected to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and exception customer service while enforcing stadium policies and responding to incidents.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Maintain a visible presence throughout the stadium to deter fan misconduct and promote a safe environment</li><li>Assume positions in all levels of the seating bowl and concourse areas to observe and identify problems, fans issues and prevent incidents from escalating  </li><li>Have a proactive approach to customer service, safety, and security during the game </li><li>Coordinate with ticket takers to complete bag checks as fans enter the ballpark</li><li>Assume positions in the player parking lot before, during and after games to ensure the safety of the players and umpires</li><li>Check for proper field access credentials for members of the media and all others on the field.  </li><li>Diffuse, mediate and control fan disputes in a timely fashion with minimal disruption of the fan’s baseball experience </li><li>Responsible for precise and accurate information relayed to medical staff, Wilson Police Department concerning altercations and/or medical issues</li><li>Work with the Wilson Police Department to assure the safety of all guests and prevent problems in high fan traffic areas, refer all criminal/ordinance violations to the Wilson Police Department for investigation and disposition </li><li>Observe and report instances of excessive alcohol consumption or underage drinking</li></ul>Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. STGi’s selection as the successful awardee. REQUIREDEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:  <ul><li>Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the nursing home facility against potential threats, unauthorized access, and security breaches.</li><li>Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and implement proactive measures to mitigate security risks.</li><li>Supervise security personnel, including security officers and guards, to ensure compliance with security protocols, regulations, and standards.</li><li>Provide leadership, guidance, and training to security staff to enhance their knowledge, skills, and effectiveness in maintaining a safe and secure environment.</li><li>Utilize security cameras, access control systems, and other surveillance technologies to monitor and surveil the nursing home premises for suspicious activities, intrusions, or security incidents.</li><li>Respond promptly to security alarms, emergency calls, and incidents, coordinating appropriate response and intervention measures as necessary.</li><li>Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures for various security scenarios, including medical emergencies, fire outbreaks, natural disasters, and security threats.</li><li>Conduct regular drills, training exercises, and simulations to ensure staff readiness and effectiveness in responding to emergencies.</li><li>Collaborate with nursing home management, department heads, and external stakeholders to address security concerns, coordinate security-related activities, and promote a culture of safety and security throughout the facility.</li><li>Communicate effectively with residents, families, and visitors to provide guidance, assistance, and reassurance regarding security-related matters and emergency procedures.</li><li>Investigate security incidents, accidents, or breaches, document relevant information, collect evidence, and prepare incident reports in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and responses for documentation, analysis, and future reference.</li></ul>   Required Skills <ul><li>Management and supervisory experience as a sworn law enforcement officer in a secure facility including management experience at the level of Security Director.</li><li>Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.</li><li>Must be knowledgeable of regulations governing activity services in nursing care facilities.</li><li>Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.</li><li>Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.</li><li>Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.</li><li>Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.</li><li>Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing activity services.</li><li>Must be a member in good standing in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW).</li><li>Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.</li></ul> Required Experience <ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management or law enforcement, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.</li><li>Management and supervisory experience as a sworn law enforcement officer in a secure facility is preferred, including management experience at the level of security director or higher.</li><li>Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate security personnel.</li><li>Strong knowledge of security principles, techniques, and best practices, including access control, surveillance, and emergency response.</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.</li><li>Proficiency in utilizing security systems, surveillance equipment, and computer applications.</li><li>Ability to remain calm, composed, and decisive in high-pressure situations and emergency scenarios.</li><li>Certification in CPR, First Aid, and other relevant emergency response training is desirable.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.</li></ul> WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Works in office areas as well as throughout the facility and its premises.</li><li>Is subject to frequent interruptions.</li><li>Is involved with residents,
