The role of the nurse practitioner / physician assistant includes, but is not limited to:- therapeutic joint injections- trigger point injections- pre- and post-operative patient care- assist with consultations- assist with medical decision-making, data gathering, and transitions of care- assist with reassessments, acute visits, clinics, and test monitoring- assist with patient follow-up and medical managementProviders see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day, but this can be adjusted based on patient need.
