Under the supervision of the Dean, MCT Pathway, to plan and teach related and shop activities in the welding curriculum to include the areas of layout, blueprint reading, fabrication, oxy-fuel welding and cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux-core arc welding with self and gas shielded wires, inspection and testing, and welding math. Minimum Educational Requirements: MUST have at least one of the following to be considered: Associates degree or higher in a related field OR; 10 years (20,000 hours) of Welding experience OR; Have a state approved registered apprenticeship in one of the following areas: steamfitter, boilermaker, sheet metal, millwright, machine repair or ironworker.
