This is a salaried, on-call position with strict availability and experience expectations. Critical On-Call Availability (Non-Negotiable) <ul><li>Weekdays: On call 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.</li><li>Weekends:On call 24 hours per day (all hours) every other weekend.</li><li>Must be available to answer calls immediately and work caregiving shifts when needed.</li><li>Must respond calmly and decisively to urgent staffing, caregiver, and client needs.</li><li>Must have reliable transportation.</li><li>Must be available to help in both Lansing and Brighton territories as Needed</li></ul> Experience Direct Care & Training (Required) <ul><li>Ability to train caregivers in all aspects of direct care, including Hoyer lift use, transfers, gait belts, toileting, showering, fall prevention, and safe mobility. </li><li>Extensive hands-on caregiving experience required. </li><li>CNA background strongly preferred. CNA-level skills are expected. </li><li>Experience conducting skills validations and supervisory visits. </li></ul>Leadership & Mentoring (Required) <ul><li>Proven experience mentoring caregivers, correcting performance issues, and reinforcing care standards. </li><li>Prior leadership or supervisory experience required. </li></ul>Scheduling & HR Experience (Preferred) <ul><li>Scheduling experience preferred, including managing call-offs, last-minute coverage, and shift coordination. </li><li>HR experience preferred, such as: <ul><li>Assisting with orientations and onboarding </li><li>Supporting training documentation </li><li>Reinforcing policies and procedures </li><li>Handling sensitive caregiver concerns professionally </li></ul></li></ul>Responsibilities <ul><li>Answer after-hours calls with professionalism and empathy. </li><li>Manage call-offs and fill open shifts promptly. </li><li>Step in to provide care when coverage is unavailable. </li><li>Mentor caregivers and provide real-time coaching. </li><li>Conduct in-person supervisory visits and skills checks. </li><li>Lead orientations and assist with caregiver training. </li><li>Perform administrative duties, including copying, filing, and light office cleaning. </li><li>Provide 15–20 hours of direct caregiving per week. </li><li>Travel between Lansing and Brighton territories as needed. </li></ul>Benefits <ul><li>Insurance eligibility after 90 days, including: <ul><li>Free telehealth </li><li>Free medications through plan partners </li><li>Free mental health support </li></ul></li><li>Options to purchase group MEC, MEC Plus, or BCBS plans. </li><li>Bonuses and sick time after 120 days. </li><li>Competitive salaried compensation.
