The Transportation Security & Cargo Specialist works closely with drivers, dispatch, Operations, customers, and security personnel to support shipment integrity, identify potential risks, coordinate appropriate responses, and ensure company and customer security requirements are followed. The employee must be able to remain alert and maintain situational awareness during extended transportation assignments; safely enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout an assignment; and use computers, mobile devices, navigation systems, and communication equipment throughout the workday.
