<p><br/><strong>Job Title: </strong>Part-Time House Manager & Family Assistant (with Dog & Household Care Focus)</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Centerton, AR 72719</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Part-time (15-20 hours per week)</p><p><strong>Schedule</strong>: Flexible schedule, averaging around 2-4 hours per day Monday through Friday. Hours may vary between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., mornings preferred with some afternoons needed for family support or kid pickups. You stay grounded, practical, and solution-focused — keeping the household running smoothly without overcomplicating things.</p><p>Our ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and eager to become part of the household team — not just an employee, but a valued and trusted presence in our home.</p><p/><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><h3><strong>Household Organization & Maintenance</strong></h3><ul><li>Reset and tidy rooms daily to restore order after the morning rush.</li><li>Maintain household organization systems (closets, storage, pantry, and toys).</li><li>Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding, outdoor gear).</li><li>Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, and vacuum high-traffic areas.</li><li>Coordinate and supervise service providers (cleaners, handymen, landscapers).</li><li>Prepare the home for guest stays, family events, or seasonal transitions.</li><li>Support packing/unpacking for family trips.</li></ul><h3><strong>Inventory & Errands</strong></h3><ul><li>Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, and household supplies.</li><li>Manage household orders (Amazon, Sam's Club, Walmart).</li><li>Run errands: groceries, returns, dry cleaning, and mail/package management.</li><li>Maintain running household lists and anticipate supply needs.</li></ul><h3><strong>Meal Support</strong></h3><ul><li>Assist with weekly meal planning and grocery restocking.</li><li>Prep grab-and-go breakfast, snack, or lunch items for the kids.</li><li>Set up simple, family-friendly dinner options (slow cooker or pre-prepped meals).</li><li>Keep the kitchen tidy and organized post-prep.</li></ul><p><em>(No dietary restrictions or allergies in the household; not vegetarian.)</em></p><h3><strong>Laundry & Linens</strong></h3><ul><li>Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry.</li><li>Manage linens and rotate bedding/towels weekly.</li><li>Steam or iron outfits and handle special-care items as needed.</li><li>Keep laundry and supply areas clean and organized.</li></ul><h3><strong>Pet Care</strong></h3><ul><li>Feed, walk, and care for the family's large Rottweiler puppy daily.</li><li>Coordinate vet, grooming, and doggy daycare appointments.</li><li>Maintain and restock pet supplies.</li><li>Ensure outdoor areas remain clean and safe for the dog.</li></ul><h3><strong>Vendor Coordination & Property Oversight</strong></h3><ul><li>Serve as point person for service providers (cleaners, landscapers, handymen).</li><li>Research and schedule household repairs, maintenance, and quotes.</li><li>Water outdoor flower baskets during warmer months and ensure outdoor spaces are tidy.</li><li>Skim pool as needed and monitor pool maintenance needs.</li></ul><h3><strong>Family Support</strong></h3><ul><li>Provide occasional school pickups (kids in booster seats).</li><li>Overnight care during rare work travel (approx. 2x/year, determined with ample advance notice).</li><li>Optional: accompany family on 2–3 weekend trips annually for household and kid support.</li></ul><h3><strong>Deep Cleaning & Special Projects</strong></h3><ul><li>Refresh and organize specific zones (entryway, mudroom, garage).</li><li>Deep clean appliances (fridge, oven) as needed.</li><li>Organize seasonal décor, toys, or storage systems.</li></ul><h3><strong>Administrative & Personal Assistant Support</strong></h3><ul><li>Manage family calendars, reminders, and household scheduling.</li><li>Research and coordinate service providers (dentists, doctors, etc.).</li><li>Handle small purchasing or errand tasks using family-approved cards and maintaining organized records.</li><li>Support travel and logistics planning for family events.</li></ul><p/><p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p><p>Please submit the following:</p><ul><li>A brief intro letter explaining why you believe you're a great fit for this role.</li><li>Your updated resume.</li><li>Three professional references with contact information.</li></ul><p>Note: This role requires a background check.</p><p/><p>When you apply with Sage Haus, you'll also be added to our candidate community email list so we can share hiring updates, resources, and opportunities.
