This work is related to the maintenance, repair, and construction of State-owned fixed and moveable bridges, culverts, and pipes 54 inches and larger within Division 2. This work covers a wide variety of functional areas including: equipment operation; pile driving, carpentry, concrete work, machine operation, draw bridge operation, contract inspection, repair of culverts, bridges, large pipes, bulkheads and pile clusters, sandblasting and painting, demolition work, welding, structure inspection, trenching and shoring, maintenance to ferry dock ramps, lead paint removal, steel fabrication, steel beam repairs, and other duties as assigned. Employee will be required to work in diverse working environments, in all types of weather conditions, in and around heavy equipment, use power tools, and safely exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
