Welder is expected to weld, lay out, fit, position, secure parts and assemblies and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, walkways according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler. Under supervision, will be required to perform welding repair and maintenance to stationary production related equipment, machinery and structures such as, conveyors, crushers, elevators, drives and screws at aggregate, ready-mix and asphalt plants.
