The <strong>Welding Technician</strong> welds all types of metals, designing, fabricating, and repairing equipment and fixtures.</div><div><br/><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></div><ul><li>Set-up and installation of welding equipment.</li><li>Execution of welding on gas turbine components as per the required technical specification.</li><li>Quality check of the performed work before operation step confirmation.</li><li>Preparation/confirmation of the required quality documentation.</li><li>Reporting of used production time per production step.</li><li>Setting up welding parameters, selects consumable materials, and prepares work piece for new welding process trials together with engineering staff.</li><li>Designs and fabricates welding fixtures, chill blocks, and purge boxes as required.</li><li>Reporting of technical deviations with the Non-Conformance Reporting System (NCR).</li><li>Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment and tools.</li><li>Keeping the working environment and machines in a clean and proper condition.</li><li>Following Environmental Health and Safety regulations.</li><li>Continually improving operations and the working environment.</li><li>Other tasks assigned by the production manager or supervisor.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Requirements:</strong></div><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li><li>3+ years of experience with TIG welding.</li><li>3+ years of experience in a production or maintenance environment.</li><li>1+ years of experience with welding of Ni-base or Ni-Cr alloys.</li><li>Experienced in carrying out visual inspections of welds.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes.</li><li>Certified in welding (TIG & MIG) or equivalent years of experience.</li><li>Must complete EHS-assigned regulatory training for the work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix.</li></ul><br/><br/><strong>About AAA USA:</strong><p>AAA USA is an in-situ manufacturing company that offers specialized subcontracting and technical assistance services related to industrialization, production and supplier monitoring processes in the Aerospace and Transportation sector.With over 1,000 employees, AAA USA draws its strength from the AAA European Group, a major player in the industry for 25 years.
