<div><strong>Position Summary:</strong></div><div>The Welder/Fabricator will perform MIG and TIG welding, fabrication, repair, and modification of industrial equipment and custom metal projects. Our client is a busy custom job shop — not production line work. Projects vary and include industrial equipment, repairs, custom fabrication, structural work, and specialty projects for customers across multiple industries. We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with strong fabrication and welding experience to join their team.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>MIG welding experience required; TIG welding experience preferred</li><li>Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications</li><li>Experience working with ferrous and non-ferrous metals including aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail</li><li>Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment</li><li>Dependable, motivated, and quality-focused</li><li>Valid driver’s license required</li></ul><div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel</li><li>Fabricate parts and assemblies from shop drawings and specifications</li><li>Measure, cut, fit, grind, and assemble materials</li><li>Operate fabrication equipment including saws, shear, brake, and ironworker</li><li>Fabricate, repair, and modify industrial equipment and components</li><li>Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy to specifications</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace</li><li>Comply with applicable safety standards and regulations</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><div><strong>Schedule:</strong></div><ul><li>Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Fridays 6am-3:30pm</li></ul><div><strong>Pay:</strong></div><ul><li>$20-$30/hour based on experience</li></ul><div>#ISS </div>

Our manufacturing division in Winchester, VA manufactures high-end grout mixers, pumps, and silos for the heavy foundation and other construction industries. <br/><br/>We seek a Welder Metal Fabricator to play a key role in building and maintaining high-quality, durable equipment for the heavy construction and foundation industries. You will work with metal components to assemble, weld, and fabricate parts for grout mixers, pumps, silos, and related machinery.</p><p style="text-indent:0px">In this role, you will:</p><ul><li><p>Read and interpret engineering blueprints to fabricate and assemble equipment.</p></li><li><p>Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape metal components with precision.</p></li><li><p>Set up and operate metalworking machinery, including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, saws, and shears.</p></li><li><p>Weld using MIG and TIG processes; grind and finish completed products.</p></li><li><p>Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet engineering specifications and company standards.</p></li><li><p>Assemble, test, and prepare equipment for rental or sale.</p></li><li><p>Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on company and rental equipment.</p></li><li><p>Paint, chip grout, pressure wash, and clean equipment as needed.</p></li><li><p>Operate company vehicles, including heavy-load transport, forklifts, overhead cranes, and hand trucks, safely.</p></li><li><p>Complete job reports, cycle counts, and other inventory or production documentation.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all state and company safety regulations.</p></li><li>Assist with shop maintenance, shipping/receiving, and other operational tasks as needed.</li></ul><p><br/>We seek the following experience: </p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or GED, required.  </p></li><li><p>AWS certification or advanced welding experience, desired </p></li><li><p>Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn</p></li><li><p>Advanced knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing procedures, preferred </p></li><li><p>Experience in metal fabrication, required </p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, required </p></li><li><p>Proficiency with metal fabrication tools, including shears, rollers, flame cutters, saws, and drill presses, required  </p></li><li><p>Advanced mathematical and engineering skills required</p></li><li><p>Understanding of basic manufacturing systems and troubleshooting tasks, required </p></li><li><p>Ability to operate a computer</p></li><li><p>Strong work ethic and career-driven mindset</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask, </p></li><li><p>Good communication skills</p></li><li><p>Own basic tools</p></li><li><p>Valid state driver’s license and clean MVR</p></li><li><p>DOT eligibility required. </p></li></ul>PennDrill Manufacturing has been a family-owned company for 4 generations, and we take pride in taking care of the people who make our company great.
