Essential Functions:Knows the properties of various rods and fluxes used in welding metalsRead and interpret sketches, blue prints, and isometric plans/drawingsAble to measure routings of pipe and fabricate pipe to fit existing in-line piping system; utilize instrumentation cut sheets to do take outs for fabrication of spool piecesPlan and layout sequence of installation to avoid obstructions Cut pipe using port-a-band saw, reciprocating saw, pipe cutters, power saw, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machineAssemble, fabricate and install variety of metal pipe and pipe fittings for both carbon steel and stainless steel Installation of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to job specifications.
