<p>Job Title: Quality Control Inspector/Welding Specialist<br/> Location: Currie, North Carolina<br/> Type: Contract To Hire<br/> Contractor Work Model: Onsite (local candidates only)<br/> Hours: 40.0<br/> Monday-Thursday 5:30 am – 4:30 pm (Overtime is sometimes necessary and mandatory)<br/><br/><br/><br/> System One is hiring a Quality Control Inspector /Welding Specialist for a contract-to-hire position.<br/> The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting the quality of incoming and outgoing products and materials, as well as monitoring production procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and client expectations. You will also assist with moving materials throughout the shop as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br/></p><ul><li>Monitor the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials as well as production procedures to ensure quality standards are met </li><li>Assist with moving materials throughout the shop as needed </li><li>Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand product requirements </li><li>Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare final products to specifications </li><li>Resolve quality-related issues promptly, including leading problem-solving efforts </li><li>Verify container parts and dimensions match drawings within allowable tolerances </li><li>Perform leak tests and other quality tests according to procedures </li><li>Inspect overall appearance and workmanship of completed units after painting to verify quality </li><li>Ensure all welds meet applicable codes per client procedures </li><li>Support audits and coordinate with internal and external customers </li><li>Follow safety and quality procedures at all times </li><li>Verify proper gasket installation and perform visual inspections </li><li>Willing to perform additional duties as assigned and support a team-oriented environment </li></ul><br/><strong>Requirements</strong><ul><li>Dependable and responsible with good communication skills (verbal & written) </li><li>Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications </li><li>Experience measuring product dimensions and performing quality tests </li><li>Ability to resolve quality issues promptly and lead problem-solving efforts </li><li>Willing to follow safety and general industry standards, including wearing PPE </li><li>Able to lift up to heavy objects and perform leak tests per procedures </li><li>Must have a Diploma or Equivalent and be 18 years or older </li><li>Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, background, and E-Verify screenings </li><li>Successfully complete forklift certification </li><li>Work in a team environment, following directions and supporting safety protocols </li></ul><p>System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America. You’ll fabricate metal containers using MIG welding processes on steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel sheet and structural components.
