The successful candidate will: · Possess a passionate enthusiasm for their craft · Be a thought-leader in the field of teaching physical education, be well-informed of the latest techniques and topics in physical education instruction and skillful in implementing those techniques and topics · Collaborate with the physical education department, the learning services team, other faculty groups, and administrators to plan and implement departmental and school-wide goals · Coach middle or upper school after school interscholastic sports for all three seasons (fall, winter and spring)· Work closely with parents, teachers, colleagues and division heads to support the development and well-being of students · Possess strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and organizational skills In addition to teaching, full-time faculty members serve as student advisors and contribute in other significant ways to the work of the community.
