The Security Officer provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, and hospital property by enforcing established security policies and procedures, conducting patrols of assigned areas, identifying potential safety hazards, and responding to unusual or emergency situations in a timely and professional manner. Identifies and reports unsafe conditions, security concerns, and improperly secured areas or property to help prevent theft, injuries, and damage involving patients, visitors, employees, and hospital property.
