Remote Medical Review Auditing Services Associate Location: Remote, US Schedule: Must have flexibility to work any shift assigned between the hours of operations of 8:00am – 5:00pm EST hours Monday - Friday. Shifts will be 8 hours per day 5 days per week.No nights or holidays! Training : 1 week, Mon-Fri Pay: Up to $25-30/hr. Plenty of career growth opportunities within the healthcare team! About the Remote Medical Review Auditing Services Associate role: • Ensures early intervention and identification of injuries which will benefit from medical case management or to identify questionable claims during the retrospective bill review process. • Reviews complex Health Care Finance Administration bills to determine authorization, relation to injury, and appropriateness of service. • Reviews complex UB bills to determine authorization, relation to injury, and appropriateness of service. • May refer high dollar bills to BR department for advanced negotiation as identified in negotiation protocol. What we look for: We’re looking for people with an eye for detail, who can review medical records and claims! To be successful in this role, you will have: Education and Experience Requirements: <ul><li> </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required </li><li> </li><li>Current license in nursing required</li><li> </li><li>Minimum 1yr clinical background experience required; ICD-10 experience preferred</li><li> </li></ul> Work-From-Home Requirements: <ul><li> </li><li>Dedicated, private home workspace free of distractions and interruptions </li><li> </li><li>Established home internet connectivity; minimum internet download speed of 25 mbps | upload speed of 15 mbps </li><li> </li></ul> A successful completion of a background check is required for this position.
