Establishes strong vendor relationships and collaborates with vendors and field and office personnel to find needed high-quality materials at reasonable prices, creates and implements continuous improvement solutions for materials, systems, and logistics, and ensures quality materials are ordered and available on the job site as needed. Responsible for leading and managing strategic cost-effective and efficient purchasing and receiving of construction materials, delivery of materials to job sites and warehouse, communication with project managers, and managing inventories to ensure materials are stocked, organized and ready for on-time utilization.
