Essential FunctionsHire, mentor, develop, and delegate writing and research tasks to Grant Writers.ad funding opportunity solicitations for the critical details required to submit a complete grant application, and clearly communicate those requirements to programs interested in fielding a grant applicationWork closely, effectively, and professionally with programmatic, administrative, and executive staff to transform their ideas into funding proposalsWrite each proposal in the style and format that most effectively responds to the solicitation requirementsDraft proposals, budgets, resolutions, letters, agreements, and other documents required for a complete application in a timely manner, allowing sufficient time for proofing and quality review ahead of deadlinesRespond effectively, appropriately, and professionally to inquiries and/or suggestions from a variety of stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment, both in person and in writingAnalyze funding solicitations to identify competition parameters and complete a Kickoff form used to schedule the Kickoff meeting where invitees discuss whether to pursue those opportunitiesIdentify, locate, select, organize, interpret, and properly cite data and/or research for use in grant applicationsSupport Grant Services Manager and Grants Team activities as needed with materials used to present at director, committee, Tribal Council and/or other stakeholder meetings regularly and as requestedWork with Tribal Council and programmatic, administrative, and executive staff to translate strategic planning, needs assessment, and other enterprise-level meetings into technical documents needed for accreditation, certification, and other purposesIt is the intent of this job description to highlight the essential functions of the position; however, it is not an all-inclusive list.
