In the fall semester, the LRW faculty teach a 3-credit, upper-level writing course to 2Ls, focusing on appellate brief writing, oral argument, and contract drafting, and a 2-credit, entry-level research and writing course to 1Ls, introducing legal research and objective legal analysis. The law school is rooted in the Jesuit Catholic tradition of educating the whole person and empowering its graduates to find their place in the world, so that they contribute to the greater good through leadership, through service, throughout their life.
