Direct lived experience with homelessness, mental illness and/ or substance use and basic knowledge of community resources which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Bachelor's degree or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: 3-5 years of grant writing and/or prospect research experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting. The Grant Writer exercises independent judgment in evaluating funding opportunities, determining positioning with funders, and shaping proposal messaging and approach.
