Job Details: Working under the direction of the Fleet Manager, the Fleet Mechanic provides general maintenance and repair of all hospital vehicles including passenger cars, trucks, ambulances, refrigeration trucks, utility vehicles, snow plows, salt spreaders, and other equipment. The Fleet Mechanic is required to understand all aspects of automotive and light truck systems including (but not limited to) fuel, brake, electrical, HVAC, suspension, gasoline/diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrain, and hydraulic systems.
