Experience Registered Nurse with five years clinical experience Certification & Licensures ARRT (N), ARRT(R), or NMTCB certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required * BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required * and/or successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology training program New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation. The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist assists the Clinical Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Nuclear medicine department, is responsible for accreditation maintenance, as well as performing a variety of complex imaging and non-imaging tests on patients of all ages from neonatal to geriatric, which require professional judgment and interaction with patients, physicians, and other allied health care professionals.
