Physical/Mental Abilities: Mobility - Frequently sitting and bending for long periods of time; occasional walking, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling and twisting; Lifting - Occasional lifting of 25 pounds or less; Vision - Ability to read normal and fine print; PC screens and information displayed on a visual display terminal; Dexterity - Constant Typing, repetitive motion and writing; occasional grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching; Hearing/Talking - Ability to understand normal conversation and over the telephone; frequent exposure to noise; Special Requirements - Occasional need to work evenings, nights and/or weekends; Emotional/Psychological - Constant concentration, decision making, public contact, exercise sound judgment, especially under stressful situations; and working alone; Environmental Conditions - Occasional exposure to noise, outdoor conditions, hazardous materials, i.e., dust, gas, smoke, fumes, poor ventilation; and. Education/Experience: Possession of an Associate of Arts degree or completion of sixty (60) semester units or equivalent quarter hours from an accredited college or university with major course work in in counseling, social services, or a related field and four (4) years of employment experience working with at-risk youth or adults, which has included training and experience in mediation, conflict resolution, gang intervention and/or related areas, with at least two (2) years of management, supervisory or lead experience.
