Albert Einstein once said "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." Monster strives to live up to that ideal through its values and core competencies that inspire people to improve their lives.
Our values define who we are as a company. They motivate us and drive our behavior to be the best for our stakeholders: shareholders, associates, customers and the communities where we live and work.
We believe we can do well as a company by doing something good for our communities and our people. One visible sign of that belief is our philanthropy program.
The company leverages its core competencies against a strategic philanthropic program that invests resources under the thematic umbrella of: Career Transformation — “Inspiring People to Change Their Lives”
Monster Philanthropy supports that theme in the areas of:
- Support for programs, resources and tools that offer individuals access to the academic foundation necessary to succeed.
- Career Development/Training
- Provide the guidance, tools and resources necessary to help individuals achieve their work-life goals and potential.
In support of those themes, Monster has provided funding for charitable organizations ranging from Dress for Success and Career Gear in the United States to the Prince’s Trust in the United Kingdom, ChildFund in Korea, SOS Children’s Village in Germany and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada.
We can’t fund all the worthy programs that come our way, but we have developed a strategic, thoughtful approach to our charitable giving that helps us identify those investments that utilize Monster’s core competencies and can best impact key communities around the world. As a result, we research and invite selected organizations to apply to Monster for support. We do accept solicited proposals.
Whether at the local level or internationally, Monster is proud of its charitable-giving recipients and the services they provide to their constituencies. Working together, we are striving to inspire people to change and improve their lives for themselves, their families and the community at large.
