In this role, the Inventory Control Coordinator II maintains proper inventory levels, ensures compliance with fixed asset procedures and Supply Chain Management directives.ResponsibilitiesFollow and maintain inventory procedures; compile records of quantity, cost, and type of materials received, in stock or issued. Restock service technicians' trucks with necessary tools and supplies.Prepare reports and conduct physical inventory counts; reconcile results with inventory records and investigate discrepancies. Ensure accuracy of inventory of spare parts and fixed asset items in the warehouse. Ensure proper maximum and minimum inventory levels; coordinate and communicate with appropriate personnel. Assess stock supply and reorder status.Research and coordinate purchasing; ensure compliance with purchasing procedures established by Supply Chain Management.Improve processes using current systems.Inform accounting on warehouse distributions; track costs, value and distribution of capital and non‑capital warehouse items.Facilitate semi‑annual rig inventories; aid rigs and yards in asset stamping and/or RFID technologies.Aid in Rig Asset Management System (RAMS) fixed asset transfers.Communicate current inventory with multiple districts to ensure use of inventory.Relay communications from the field to SCM group, including part descriptions, pictures, prices, and validations.Assist with international shipments, communicate with Freight Forwarders and/or Custom Brokers in compliance with FCPA regulations.QualificationsThorough knowledge of terminology used for rig supplies and rig equipment.Knowledge of inventory and fixed asset concepts, practices and procedures.Knowledge of purchasing, warehousing, distributing, and tracking costs of capital and non‑capital items.Basic knowledge of FCPA.Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with employees and management at all levels.Proficient PC skills: Excel, Word, etc.Ability to operate forklift, manlift, and other material‑handling equipment.Strong planning and organizational skills.Willingness to travel as needed.BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account.401(k) match.Paid leave plans.Parental & adoption benefits.Disability coverage.Employee Assistance Program.Educational assistance.Learning and development opportunities.Flex‑scheduling available for qualifying positions.H&P is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
