Our Mission is based on improving the health of our communities – that means not only when you are sick but keeping you well.Employment Type Full timeShift Evening ShiftSchedule 8-hours EveningsRequires holidays, weekends and callGeneral Requirements Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed.Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to ensure that appropriate levels are established.Identify excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits.Notifies leader of outdated or slow-moving inventory.Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items, issues and credits materials from the inventory management system.Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations, and labeling bins and handling requests to change pars.Acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed.Works with and follows instructions of buyers and other Supply Chain personnel in the events of recalls to pull relevant products.Education High School diploma or equivalentPrevious perioperative service or inventory management experience preferred.Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite preferred.Colleagues of MercyOne Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout the system!Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
