    Senior Accountant Opportunity

Our client is a well-established financial and business management firm that provides high-touch services to clients in the entertainment, sports, and creative industries. Known for their personalized, concierge-style approach, this firm handles everything from tax planning and tour accounting to royalty audits and bill pay. As their roster of high-profile clients grows, they are looking to add a Senior Accountant who can help elevate service delivery and ensure accuracy across client accounts.

    Client-Facing Accounting & Advisory
    • Serve as the go-to accounting contact for assigned clients—most of whom are high-net-worth individuals or corporate entities in entertainment or sports.
    • Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple clients, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end and year-end closes.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
    • Support clients with cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
    • Review client contracts and advise on accounting implications when needed.
    Tax & Compliance
    • Collaborate with internal tax teams to ensure accurate and timely tax filings for both individuals and entities.
    • Assist with 1099 preparation, tax projections, and quarterly tax estimates.
    • Stay up to date on evolving tax regulations that impact clients in entertainment, sports, and related fields.
    Team Support & Oversight
    • Mentor junior accountants and associates by reviewing their work, providing training, and ensuring deliverables meet firm standards.
    • Act as a quality control layer—reviewing reconciliations, payables, and client correspondence.
    • Coordinate with third-party auditors and legal counsel when necessary.
    Process Improvement & Technology
    • Recommend process improvements and help standardize best practices across client accounts.
    • Leverage accounting software and client management platforms to streamline workflow and reporting.
    • Assist in onboarding new clients and setting up customized financial systems for them.
    Who You Are
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
    • CPA designation preferred but not mandatory.
    • 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a client services firm or working directly with high-net-worth individuals, entertainers, or athletes.
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and personal/business tax fundamentals.
    • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Datafaction, or similar accounting systems is a plus.
    • Highly organized and deadline-driven, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-discretion environment.
    • Excellent communication skills—you know how to speak "client" and "accounting" fluently.
    Perks & Compensation
    • Competitive salary aligned with experience and the market
    • Strong benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more
    • Opportunity to work closely with high-profile clients and an experienced team of business managers and accountants
    • Tight-knit, professional culture with a strong reputation in the industry
