Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $80,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Handles day-to-day accounting operation for assigned residential properties
• Handles vendor setup and COI updates, uploads monthly corporate allocations, prepares quarterly tax withholding forms, maintains various shared schedules, and etc.
• Handles month-end close for assigned properties
• Handles quarterly tasks related to distribution and investor reporting
• Prepares reports/schedules per management's request

• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Meticulous attention to details and accuracy
• Yardi experience preferred but not required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 1 year relevant experience
