What You'll Need to Succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant competency checklist or course.
- At least one year of Nursing Assistant experience; hospital experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient safety, sterile techniques, and perioperative practices.
- Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in obstetrics, surgical procedures, or L&D units.
- Additional certifications in perioperative nursing or related fields.
- Familiarity with medical equipment specific to surgical and labor/delivery settings.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of hospital-based Nursing Assistant or similar healthcare experience.
Other Requirements:
- Current BLS certification required.
- Ability to work night shifts (7PM - 7AM).
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different hospital environments.
- Valid licenses, certifications, and willingness for travel reimbursements when applicable.
