Account Executive

Position Summary

As an Account Executive, you will serve as a trusted marketing consultant to local businesses and advertising agencies, helping clients achieve their business goals through innovative advertising and marketing solutions. This role combines prospecting, relationship building, strategic planning, and revenue generation across Beasley Media Group's portfolio of broadcast, digital, streaming, event, and experiential marketing assets.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop long-term client partnerships while driving new business growth.

Essential Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and outreach efforts.
• Maintain and grow existing account relationships while increasing revenue and market share.
• Develop integrated marketing solutions utilizing Beasley Media Group's full suite of advertising platforms.
• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and marketing proposals to local businesses and advertising agencies.
• Identify client business challenges and recommend customized advertising and marketing strategies.
• Secure sponsorships, promotional partnerships, experiential marketing opportunities, and digital advertising campaigns.
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and business owners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and responsiveness.
• Regularly communicate with clients regarding campaign performance, marketing initiatives, sponsorships, and business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to expand partnerships through upselling and cross-selling solutions.

Strategic Planning & Market Research

• Prepare thoroughly for all client interactions by researching industries, market conditions, business objectives, and competitive trends.
• Analyze client needs, target audiences, and historical advertising investment to develop effective recommendations.
• Stay informed on emerging advertising, media, digital marketing, and consumer behavior trends.
• Utilize market insights and audience data to enhance client outcomes and sales effectiveness.

Product & Industry Expertise

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Beasley Media Group's products, platforms, pricing, audience insights, and marketing capabilities.
• Continuously expand expertise in radio, digital advertising, streaming audio, video, events, promotions, and experiential marketing.
• Understand competitive offerings and effectively position Beasley Media Group's advantages in the marketplace.

Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, activity logs, and sales opportunities within the company CRM.
• Effectively manage schedules, appointments, account plans, and follow-up activities.
• Provide timely sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports as requested by management.
• Document client interactions and strategic account activities to support business growth and customer retention.

Collaboration & Communication

• Maintain regular communication with leadership regarding sales activity, pipeline development, client opportunities, and business needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of advertising campaigns and client initiatives.
• Support client events, promotions, and experiential marketing activities as needed.
• Contribute positively to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
