Account Executive

Since 1933, Vine Line Produce has been delivering fresh fruits and vegetables to our valued partners throughout the Midwest. Essential Functions:

• Increase customer sales in accordance with objectives.
• Supply and educate customers and produce managers with point of sale and point of purchase materials.
• Coordinate with outside and inside reps on budget, gross profit, sales and strategic goals for Indianapolis Fruit.
• Conduct annual customer reviews, including category review, product. performance, SKU additions & reductions and seasonal sales planning.
• Complete all ordering and pricing in a timely manner.
• Maintain regular and satisfactory full-time attendance.
• Perform work outside of normal business hours as required.
• Perform special projects as assigned by the President – Vine Line Products.

Education & Experience:

• Related college coursework and at least 3 years successful fresh produce management experience in sales, buying or merchandising for large wholesale distributors or retailers
• Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office, produce industry software, and common E Mail systems are required
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Maintain insurability on company’s commercial auto insurance program

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm)
• Saturday – Every 3^rd Week

Compensation:

• Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 

Physical Demands:

• Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for short periods of time
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand or sit for long periods of time
