JOB SUMMARY: The Account Executive is responsible for generating ticket revenue through the sale of group tickets, season tickets, mini-plans, suites, picnics, birthdays, party decks, and other ticket packages. The position is focused primarily on group sales and requires consistent prospecting, outbound sales activity, relationship development, sales presentations, closing business, and account management.
The Account Executive will also assist with the execution of group events, ticket operations, sponsorship and promotional initiatives, and other general business operations of the Long Island Ducks. The position requires a highly motivated, organized, customer-focused individual who can work independently while contributing to the overall goals of the organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
WORK SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT
This position requires flexibility based on the Long Island Ducks' schedule and business needs. The position requires regular evening, weekend, and holiday work, particularly during the baseball season.
In-season game days: Generally 11:00 a.m. through the conclusion of the game, unless otherwise directed by management. In-season non-game days: Generally 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Off-season: Generally 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Account Executive must be willing and able to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and other non-traditional hours as required by the team's schedule and business needs.
COMPENSATION
Commission programs are subject to applicable sales policies and agreements. Commissions are generally calculated and paid quarterly based on qualifying revenue that has been earned and paid in full to the Long Island Ducks. Additional commission eligibility requirements may apply.

Eligibility and waiting periods are subject to applicable plan documents and company policies.
Vacation requests during the Championship Season are generally restricted due to the operational requirements of the baseball season. A blackout period generally applies from March 1 through Opening Day, during which time off will only be approved under special circumstances.
