Overview As an Account Manager within our Advanced Wound Management (AWM) team , you will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes by partnering with healthcare providers to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of wound care solutions. This includes advanced wound dressings, biologics, and other technologies designed to support healing across a variety of care settings. This is a field-based sales role where you will drive territory growth, support clinical education, and build lasting partnerships with key stakeholders across acute and post-acute environments.What will you be doing? Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve and exceed sales goalsPromote the full Advanced Wound Management portfolio, addressing a wide range of wound care needs across patient populationsEducate clinicians and healthcare staff on the clinical and economic value of Smith+Nephew solutionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including clinicians, nursing staff, and purchasing stakeholdersIdentify new business opportunities and drive product adoption within existing and new accountsPartner cross-functionally with internal teams to support account growth and customer satisfactionDeliver in-services, product demonstrations, and educational programs to support best practices in wound careThese responsibilities align with the broader AWM sales model, where representatives manage complex territories, call on multiple healthcare settings, and support a diverse wound care portfolio.What will you need to be successful? Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceProven success in sales, preferably within medical device, healthcare, or a related fieldAbility to navigate complex healthcare environments with multiple stakeholders and decision-makersStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate clinical and economic valueDemonstrated ability to build relationships and influence customer decision-makingExperience managing a territory, pipeline, and sales planning processHigh level of accountability, organization, and resilienceTop performers in this role typically demonstrate strong territory ownership, stakeholder management, and disciplined execution of sales strategies.Why join Advanced Wound Management? The actual base pay offered will be based on factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. This role is eligible for sales commission and incentives based on targets.
