Account Manager (Commercial P&C) - Boca Raton, FL
Salary: $75K-$85K plus commission/bonus structure + performance incentive.

Job Overview
As an Account Manager for the commercial P&C book, you'll serve as the primary point of contactfor a portfolio of clients driving growth, protecting renewals, and delivering proactive risk advisory. You'll lead quote requests, structure specialized coverage programs by industry, and partner with carriers to secure competitive terms. This role blends client relationship management with hands-on brokerage and operational excellence so you can help clients stay covered, compliant, and confident as their needs evolve.

Required Skills
  • 3 to 5+ years of P&C account management experience in commercial lines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage renewals and support new business initiatives (including quote requests and market-facing activity)
  • Experience structuring and advising on coverages such as property, GL, workers' comp, cyber, D&O, builders' risk, and more (as applicable to client segments)
  • Ability to analyze risk exposures and provide coverage advisory aligned with regulatory and market trends
  • Carrier-focused skills include negotiation, securing competitive terms, and managing endorsements, audits, and policy changes
  • Strong proficiency in agency operations and compliance, including maintaining accurate data in agency systems such as Applied Epic, Sagitta, and/or AMS (and similar platforms)
  • Tech-savvy with MS Office and agency management tools (e.g., Applied Epic, Sagitta, EZLynx)
  • Excellent client-facing communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking ability
Preferred Skills
  • Experience across diverse verticals such as nonprofit, restaurants, construction, realty, and similar industries
  • Exposure to specialized broking for a wide range of commercial coverage needs
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with underwriters and support staff, including mentoring junior team members
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in P&C insurance
  • Prior experience with P&C products, underwriting concepts, carrier quoting, and risk management
Other Requirements
  • Active FL P&C license (220, 2044 or equivalent)
  • Ability to effectively meet timelines for renewals and maintain compliance with internal controls
  • Must be comfortable partnering with carriers and coordinating with internal teams to support onboarding and program execution
