Account Manager with a strong background in
flexible packaging to lead relationship activities with a large strategic customer. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day account operations, driving business growth, and ensuring a superior customer experience through cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled negotiator with a deep understanding of flexible packaging, market trends, and customer needs. You'll serve as a key liaison between internal teams and the customer, driving profitable growth through innovative, sustainable packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Protect and grow existing business within assigned accounts.
- Drive new business opportunities aligned with company capabilities and market strategy.
- Build and strengthen relationships across customer departments - including commercial, operations, technical, and supply chain.
- Lead complex negotiations and manage high-value, multi-stakeholder accounts.
- Oversee project development and commercialization efforts for new and existing business.
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer markets, competitors, and emerging sustainable packaging trends.
- Ensure compliance with corporate business conduct standards and federal anti-trust laws.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and identify mutual value opportunities for both organizations.
Qualifications- Flexible Packaging experience - REQUIRED (please do not apply without this experience).
- Proven success leading and managing negotiations in large, complex accounts.
- Strong relationship-building and customer management skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to execute account strategies.
- Excellent communication, business acumen, and strategic thinking.
- Knowledge of sustainable packaging trends is a plus.
