Accountant
FLSA Status for this position is Full time HourlyReports directly to the Controller
First Call Hospitality, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our team in Fargo, ND. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our company's financial health through thorough bookkeeping and accounting practices.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including as a back-up for accounts payable.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Maintain bank account activity files; Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.
- Process payroll on a weekly basis; timekeeping and related inquiries from field personnel
Requirements
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Degree in Accounting or related hotel field experience is preferred.
