Accountant / Finance Mgr

Accountant / Finance Mgr needs 3+ years of comparable accounting, degree in accounting, experience with big corporate, high volume environments

Accountant / Finance Mgr requires:

• IFRS16 and/or ASC842
• SAP proficiency
• MBA and/or CPA
• Retail industry experience
• GL accounting
• Big corporate , high volume experience
• Expert Excel
• ERP systems
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• In-depth understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties
• Advanced MS Excel

Accountant / Finance Mgr duties:

• Responsible for various lease-based accounting activities (e.g. accruals/deferrals, lease valuations, sales based rent, etc.).
• Completes month-end close duties accurately and timely (e.g. recording / approving journal entries, performing variance analysis, etc.).
• Interacts with accounting partners in North America and across the world
• Prepares/reviews reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts. Identify, communicate and resolve any reconciling items.
• Ensures compliance with IFRS accounting requirements, and internal controls.
• Works directly with internal and external auditors to ensure successful and timely completion of internal audits and quarterly/annual reviews.
• Proactively identifies and implements process improvements as necessary.
• Completes special project work as assigned
