Accountant

Our client, a global media company, is looking for an Accountant to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Hollywood. The successful candidate will have strong accounting experience, excellent organizational and attention to detail skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Role OverviewContract Role: 5 months (through year-end)Pay: $38-42/hr W2 (No C2C)Schedule: Fully onsite M-F, 9am to 6pm, 1 hour unpaid lunchResponsibilitiesOwn the preparation and posting of journal entries throughout the close cycleSupport monthly close by ensuring accurate revenue recognitionPerform detailed account reconciliations and resolve variancesSuppor cast receipts and AR functionsDistribute daily P&L and Balance Sheet reports to Controllership and FP&A teamsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration is requiredCPA or progress towards the certification is a plus3+ years of corporate accounting experience (month-end closing, intercompany accounting, reconciliations experience)Prior experience working in the media, entertainment, or a studio environment is preferred (familiarity with participation accounting or revenue recognition related to these industries)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with Oracle Fusion a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
