Accountant - Real Estate Developer in South FL

Senior Accountant | Leading Real Estate Platform in South FL 

Hybrid, 4 days onsite 

We're partnering with a nationally recognized real estate owner, developer, and investment firm on an accounting opportunity in South Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to transition from public accounting, ideally Big 4 or a large regional CPA firm, into a sophisticated commercial real estate environment. You'll work closely with experienced finance leaders while gaining exposure to complex accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and general ledger activity in accordance with GAAP
• Manage month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Assist with cash management, cash flow forecasting, and budget variance analysis
• Support lender, investor, and partner reporting
• Assist with annual audits, budgeting, forecasting, and special projects
• Partner with finance, operations, treasury, and executive leadership across the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred, with Big 4 or large regional CPA firm experience 
• Commercial real estate experience is a plus
• CPA or CPA track preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills (JD Edwards experience is a plus)
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

$100K - $105K base salary dependent on experience
